When I started powerlifting I asked Brandon if he would take on coaching a gimpy masters (M2 to be exact) lifter (who couldn't do a competition legal squat). His answer "Love to!" That was January 2017. In my first USAPL meet in April 2017 I took 2nd place in my division (57k M2) and hit a total that qualified me for USAPL Raw Nationals 2017. At Nationals - 10 months after starting - I took 3rd (and I was 1 white light from silver)!
What a ride! All made possible by Brandon's coaching, programming, passion and deep knowledge of fitness and strength. What makes him such a great coach is he takes the time to get to know the athletes he's coaching. Yes he assesses the physical strengths and weaknesses of the athlete and programs accordingly, but importantly he takes the time to understand our goals, anxieties, phobias and quirks. Simply put he gets to know the individual. And that makes all the difference in the world!
